My lettering design for the song "Come Alive."

The Inspiration

The Greatest Showman is one of the best cinematic experiences for me.
The film's energy made me pumped and ready to conquer the world. Although I wanted to sing "From Now On" at the top of my lungs on the way home, I didn't want to seem like an even bigger weirdo. LMAO

Despite my love for "From Now On", today's lettering was inspired by the song "Come Alive" from the movie. Because the lyrics can be taken out of the movie context with a powerful message that with a little imagination, anything is possible.

The Process

 

However, once I started working on the brush script, I felt so motivated and realized it was my favorite lettering style. I did try to make it colorful, but my impatience got the best of me.

Despite that, I am grateful for today because I discovered my new favorite brushes for this type of lettering. They will be my go-to from now on.
